Yeah! It's Friday again today... Lots of stuffs happened today... Want to know whats happening? Continue to scroll down and you will know (:
Yawnz... Woke up at 7.15am today and meet Naz at the bus stop and go to school together.Super tiring!!! We reached school around 8.25am and we gathered near the mushroom( main entrance) for the rest of the remaining classmates.
As usual, someone's is gonna to be late :X Waited like 20mins in the hot sun,we decided to go to the class straight. Like half the class was not there yet at 8.45 and the decided to be PSKs and PS them...Lol~
Anyway, we are earlier for the lesson and Mrs Eng(E-Maths teacher) was not even there yet :/ and around 9am,most of them came.
We then showed our solutions on the board as we will be rewarded with class participation points ^^ Generally, most questions are a piece of cake to me ~ But, some questions it's really hard.
After E-Maths, it's back to Mr Tai's lesson again. Zzz!!! Really don't understand why his pronuciation of some words is really different from others.Hahaha? But, so far, I never laugh at him during his lesson before.Nevertheless, we managed to cover quite alot today. Lots of notes to copy too~~
Next, was CKT(Circuit Analysis). The lesson is boring and you will tend to get sleepy sooooooon xD.Yawns~ Zzz.... But, I got stay attentive in class to understand certain stuffs about a circuit.1 hour seemed to pass very slowly today.
After the lesson, our class had a "meeting" about to go or not to go for the record-breaking human-wheelbarrow challenge. At first, everyone agreed to join the challenge as a class.But, all seemed to be busy or sian sian about the event and decided to back out ~.~ Luckily, Justin, Beena, Naz and I decided to go and support in the record-breaking event.
After deciding, Justin went off with his family for lunch while the rest gone to the nearby food stalls to get our lunch there...I had fried chicken wings rice with egg for lunch :D The food is so-so only cause the egg is like crap?
Finishing lunch, we gone to the library to surf the net and do some maths revision there.Beena and I are so fortunate to have Naz teaching us some questions that we encounter and did not know how to solve them.
At 2.40pm, we went to the LT for the briefing of the challenge.We do the usual cheers and some new weird cheers lolx? By the way, this challenge will have SEAL points xD. Although I don't know how many points =X
At 4.40pm, we moved to the sport complex and waited patiently for our turn for the challenge.What's great is the inter-house wheel-barrow speed challenge, Engineering school won!! Woo~
Awhile later, we were down in the field and started our 50m walk. I was afraid that I would "eat grass" on the way through. But, as a strong young guy, I managed to clear without eating anything :P unlike Beena haha xD.
After the challenge, we got a certificate of participation and got a goodie bag fulled with stuffs.We then make our way back to the LT to get our bags before leaving off.
Felt proud that I helped the school in breaking of the record and happy that I managed to clear the challenge without dropping down :)
I then take bus 8 asap back to meet up with the gang for dinner. I had tom yam soup for dinner and packed gong bao ji ting rice for mummy.
After awhile, my mother rushed down to the hospital as she learnt that my popo is having breathing difficulties.
Half an hour later,my ah yi called and told us that popo is in pain and asked everyone in the family to go down to SGH asap...After knowing the news, we rushed to the hospital straight.She was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia(AML-02) like a few months ago and recently just know that she had such a disease. Moreover, she had a weak heart this makes her even harder to get sufficient oxygen in her body and the doctors said that she only left weeks to months more...
When we got there, it's around 10.10pm, she was having difficulties in breathing and her face was pale.With such a low immunity, she suffered a fever and with such fevers, her brain may result in certain damage. Ever since she got the fever, her temperature was relatively high throughout (above 38 degrees) the past two days.
From her looks, I knew that it's not easy to overcome this barrier. She is giving all her energy to fight with the disease.All of us was in a sad state and everyone there is praying so hard for her.
Around 11.25pm, I left the hospital and accompanied my gong gong back home as he is all alone by himself and he just recovered from shingles.
At 12am, I reached his house and accompanied him.He dozed off within minutes as he was super tired and I watched the television to overcome boredom. After awhile, I decided to have a nap.
Around 12.45am, my cousin called and told me that my popo had passed away.... I stunned.All I got to say was rest in peace. Out of the sudden, past memories of my popo past through my mind.Although I never got to see her the last time, I know that she doesn't want us to be sobbing for her... and she declared her death on 25/04/2009 12.31am.
All these happened in a day- a happy and sad event.... 24/04/2009.... Life is unpredictable and hope you guys cherish every little thing you have from now.
Good night and tomorrow will a long day for all the beloved ones of Chan Yeok Sim.
